We are thrilled to announce a major milestone in EZYAIR’s history: EZYAIR has been officially named a finalist in the 2026 Victorian Training Awards for the prestigious Employer Award for Apprenticeship Development!
Presented by the Victorian Skills Authority (VSA) and the Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions, the Victorian Training Awards represent the highest benchmark of excellence in vocational education and workforce development across the state. Being shortlisted as one of only three statewide finalists in this competitive category is an incredible validation of our team, our mentors, and the hundreds of dedicated trade professionals who have passed through our doors.

When EZYAIR opened its doors back in 2007, we made a core commitment to invest in local workforce development. We recognised early on that building a high-performing, reliable service model required more than just recruiting experienced labour, it meant building a world-class training ground from the inside out.

Over 100+ Apprentices Trained: Since 2007, we have mentored over 100 Victorian apprentices through their trade qualifications, helping young men and women build lifelong, high-paying careers in the skilled trades.

Industry Leading Completion Rates: By maintaining a long-standing, structural partnership with MEGT and cultivating a progressive, inclusive workplace culture, we have built a supportive training environment where apprentices thrive from day one through to graduation.
Pioneering Victoria’s First "Triple Trade" Clean Energy Model
As Victoria accelerates toward its ambitious net-zero targets and housing electrification goals, the trade sector is facing a new challenge: traditional, single-silo trade skills are no longer enough. Modern climate systems, heat pumps, and energy efficiency upgrades require a deep, multi-disciplinary understanding.
To solve this gap, EZYAIR pioneered an innovative Triple-Trade Training Framework, cross-skilling our apprentices across three critical sectors:

Electrical: Mastering high-voltage connections, control circuitry, and smart-system integration.

Refrigeration & Air Conditioning: Executing complex thermodynamic principles, heat exchange dynamics, and strict refrigerant management.

Plumbing: Handling hydraulic connections, drainage, and mechanical water heating systems.
By combining these three distinct disciplines into a unified on-the-job training program, EZYAIR apprentices graduate as dynamic, multi-skilled trade specialists capable of executing full-scale electrification retrofits.
Training the Next Generation of Clean Energy Experts
Our apprenticeship program doesn't just focus on standard installations, we are actively training the workforce that will power Victoria’s clean energy transition.
As an authorised provider under the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program and the first air conditioning business in Australian history to partner with the Australian Refrigeration Council (ARC) and the Federal Department of Climate Change under the Retail Engagement initiative, our apprentices operate on the front lines of environmental stewardship.
From working alongside elite mentors, to operating under a modern, inclusive executive leadership team that prioritises safety and diversity, our apprentices are proving that the modern Australian trade environment is forward-thinking, welcoming, and vital to the state's economic future.

Being recognised by the Victorian Skills Authority among the best training employers in the state is an unbelievable honor. The VTA Gala event will take place on Friday, 18 September 2026, where state winners will be announced.
